An honest man is hurt by praise unjustly bestowed.

It is a French proverb and also this reminds me of a statement by Sayidina Ali,may Allah swt be pleased with him.

This is a strong reminder for myself to tame this heart and head from being conceited.

Imagine, ni contoh eh..if someone came and compliment me for being a very good wife when I just had a good tiff with my spouse sinfully minutes ago.If someone came and say I am a very good cook when minutes ago I just burnt my gravy that he did not get to taste..If someone came up to me saying I am a very patient and warm person when I just gave a good lungly yell unto my kids for being naughty and forced them to stay in their bedroom....praises become so very painful isn't it.

Ya Allah...you are the Most Knowing the secrets of every being whom you have created.How embarassing....

Teacher is right ..... astaghfirullah it first.
